As title says really + what sites do people recommend. Went to the last one in 06 and stayed in MB campsite, was good fun but having read the topic about how it is in development & on the ACO site you can't but tickets anyhow I was hoping to find alternative sites. Any suggestions? (URL's would be good to).

Sounds great, but I think this is for the modern Le Mans, the web link does not mention the classic?

Apologies Cracked Finger. I missed the word Classic in your post title getmecoat

I'm not doing anything for the Classic. We were looking at getting some people together but didn't hit the numbers required (100) to get the space. TBH, I'd rather go to the classic as a tourist anyway!

[grumpy mode] I sometimes wonder if I'm the only person with Google on my computer [/grumpy mode]

The ACO site http://ticket.lemans.org/vente2/visu_article_mini.... has all of the details, download the pdf and look at the ticket office.

You can buy Karting Nord from the ACO - perfectly good site, lots of people like it a lot. Last time there was only MB and then they sold KN at the last minute. This time capacity of MB is likely to be very limited so I'd buy KN and be done with it for now.

Or you could buy from an agency and pay their mark up.

If you book classic tickets on the ACO website you will be allocated Karting Nord, if you book through the ticket office direct, url on the other thread then you can get MB.
The ACO are currently saying that MB will be open for the classic.
If not theve got an awful lot of people to find homes for !!!!!!

I've applied for tickets already but as is the case it'll be another few months before I find out whats allocated. Of course.....if you've got a couple of spare tickets with the Cobra club Andy, there's a two Corvettes that need a home in July.

I believe there may be a spare ticket or 2 coming up, nothing definite yet, but it wouldnt hurt if you registered on the cobra club site and posted a request for tickets.

Just registered and posted, cheers!! Think I'm now in debt for a round of beers as I posted on the stickie about '08 tickets. I bet the ACO send me an email today with my allocations now.

It should be open, I think there is more doubt about whether it will be ready in time for the 24 which is a month earlier. Fingers crossed it will be.
