Hi,
I am looking to buy a 355 and test drove a manual car at a dealer on Saturday. The car drove well I thought although not having driven any others it is difficult to make an accurate judgement. However, I did think that the clutch bite point was quite high up the pedal travel and wondered if this was typical or if this is a sign of a clutch on its way out???
Grateful for any feedback before I commit one way or the other to the car.
Thanks

quite normal for the clutch to bite just under half way up the pedal travel.if higher than that try haggling the price or try for a new clutch.
Make sure the car has had a service and belts done recently too, plus plenty of service history or it will be very difficult to sell in the future.
