I noticed a couple of other members went on Sunday. Thought the day was superb (unless you owned a black 968 Porsche which looked like a w/off). Great weather ond courteous drivers..

I will second those people thanking the weather gods, as those of us with no roof like me and my orange caterham R300 welcomed the refreshing chance to drive in the sunshine and it wasn't too cold. I also agree about the very polite drivers, is it that they were all marshalls and are always so very kind to us racers? - some seemed to give up mid corner and signal me past, not quite what it says in the rules!

Cheers to all and see you next time.

anyone notice the marshall at mansfield kept waving his yellow flag instead of a blue one?? very annoying considering the entrance to that corner is blind...

Pics or videos - good question. I'm sure there were lots of people taking pics. I've checked MSV site and nobody publishes from there (unlike Donnington)

Was there some additional briefing at lunchtime after the 968 stuffed it? We went off to get some lunch so don't know what was said. Just wondered as marshal at mansfield looked very unhappy with us after i spun at gooseneck, as if it was a shocking thing to happen on a trackday!!

Indeed there was another "briefing". The guys mentioned what had been done to sure up the circuit and to be aware of that part of the track. It is tricky at gooseneck that is for sure !

Just had a look at the photos from the link...ordered a pic (A4 Size) of me and the motor. I'll let you know what I think when it arrives !
