where did you get the typhoo style grill? i can only seem to find MKII style grills

Looks identical to mine. There was a company that manufactured them in the North East and I bought the owners car. They no longer make the grills and have moved onto Nissans
Peronally, I think they look the dogs as I've never liked the cheese grater grill.

The blue Tuscan is my old car, which is now owned by Rob O`Conner from York, it was for sale last i heard?
The grille and front splitters where fitted by myself and my son after they were sprayed, the grille is a T440 replica, and the splitters where made up to my spec by a young lad who worked in small workshop making glass fibre panels for boats. Some more photos with the larger old T88CAN number plate.

did the 'young lad' also make the T440 grill?

do you think he still has the moulds?

No the grille was bought from a PHer who made a batch of them a few years back, i can`t remember who it was but it was upth north somewhere?
The small glass fibre business went bust a couple of years ago, the lad didn`t use moulds he took the measurements and away he went, top lad, when asked how much he wanted for his trouble, all he wanted was a decent passenger ride in the Tuscan

Hi the Grill came from a Pher called BigPhil based in Seaburn I believe. I had one put on my Tuscan ( later sold ) about three years ago



Fortunately I purchaed another tuscan - and I think the number plate looks lots better on mine (thanks T66ORA)



I contacted BigPhil about 6 months ago and he isn't doing them any more - but I did manage to get his "last one".

It'll be going on my Tuscan over the next few months now I have tracked down someone who can provide the correct paint job - Surface and Design in Blackpool (thanks glow worm)

Still go to the garage and open the door just to remind myself what an absolutely fantastic car I have - even if I'm not going for a drive.

Had a bit of an accident a few days ago in the garage when some step ladders fell on the N/S wing - hence the reason I'm going to surface & design in the 1st place. I may as well get the MKII lookalike front done at the same time.

Just purchased some Carbon Cans. Had them fitted at the local Kwikfit - saved me crawling around underneath. Glad I did as it took the chap a bit of time & elbow grease to get the originals off. They also didn't charge me for doing it - although I gave the lad who did it a tenner as a thanks. (think it made his day working on a TVR ).

Love the sound they make - a real nice rumble and crackle with pops and bangs on overrun - superb. Just wondering now about getting the cats taken out and replaced by some of NTEL's straight through pipes.
