One of the guys in the office has a 2000 model with the 6 speed ZF box. It's juddering when pulling away in reverse. Anyone got any ideas?

Get the gearbox oil changed. Yes, you can get it changed!

If not, maybe the diff. , but I reckon the oil change will sort it.

Made me smile this post. Here was I all about to give advice on the lay shaft of the old Moss box and then I realise that this isn't an "old" XK but a "new" one. Pass me my slippers and zimmer frame - I'm getting old!

I'd also been going to make comments about the Moss box then realised that the definision of "old" was out by 4 decades ... oh well
