Well SP9000's or Toyo's for a Chimaera, they will be mainly Winter Spring & Autumn tyres as the R888's will be on all summer, well as much as possible really.

My front SO2's PP are just about done so need some fronts just, what you all think, which is best??????

Colin, I had SP9000's as my last set of tyres and now run Toyos. I find the Toyos make the Chim feel more sure footed although I have changed the sizes I am using to 205 50 15 and 245 45 16 which may be part of the reason. In all honesty I don't think there is much between them. If I had to choose I would go for Toyos, they are cheaper too. I got mine from camskill.

I'm just pricing SP9000's all round but blackcircles.com have emailed me saying they think the rears (225x50x16) may have been discontinued??

Might have to go for Toyos

HI Colin,
SP9000's x 4 and no complaints.
Certainly better than the Bridgestone SO3's that she came with.

My experience too. Car now feels safe, before it tramlined and generally felt as though it wanted to go hedgecutting all the time. Also ride quality much improved, don't get shaken to bits over cats eyes and every drain cover. Having done about 8K miles on them they seem to be wearing very well, but I don't do burnouts or track days!
Try Micheldever tyres near Winchester. They do mail order, very good price and service

As I thought, Greg got me my set locally and I think they where only £90 a corner, could be worth a call
