Just wondered if anyone could help with suggested tyre pressures for Cerbera Speed Six with 18" Spiders and Toyo Proxes? When I got the car all were on 26, but manual suggests 22 Front and 24 Back. Expect to use for general roads up to 100 mph max.

I think you'll find that the manual, in typical TVR fashion, was written eons ago before they started putting 18" spiders on the cars. The smaller wheels can run softer as they are less likely to hit the rim on a bump. The spiders on the other hand are a little less robust, and have less tyre in the way!

I happen to run on 24 all round, but it's a 4.5, and I have dinged a wheel...

I'd be a little wary of running very low pressures (22/24) on the 18" Spiders, especially as the Toyos aren't an exact fit (225s a bit too narrow, 235s too wide). The consequences of rolling a tyre off the rim under hard cornering doesn't bear thinking about.

^^^Absolutely!

The Proxes have quite a soft sidewall too.

24 all round on my six. Tried higher pressure to start but it did not handle well and tended to tramline. No probs since on country roads all the time.

Sorry should have mentioned, they are same wheel and tyre combo as you
