Hi,
I am considering rewiring my car and want to make it as tidy as possible. Has anyone used the wiring modules from NFAUTO/ car builder solutions or anything similar please? How successful was it?
Cheers.
It seems a bit expensive for what it is and I would have thought the wiring of each car is fairly bespoke, depending on the engine and other stuff you've put in the car? Not all cars have windscreen wipers, etc.I am considering rewiring my car and want to make it as tidy as possible. I wired up mine from scratch and it wasn't a big part of the build at all. I bought all the wire and bits required and ended up with exactly what I wanted. I'd say design it youself and then just build it.

Cheers for the advice. I am just looking to replace the entire system and have one central unit that's easy to get to when replacing fuses/relays or adding new circuits.I thought it would help me systematically wire up each part of the car in turn. My car has rear screen demist, heater, interior light, radio, multi speed wipers, electric button operated rear hatch as well as the standard ignition/lighting/instrument curcuits. I will probably copy your wiring gauge selection guide if I do make it myself.
Your desire to keep it all in one place is very sound but I doubt the module will answer all your needs.
A supplier like Vehicle Wiring Products will supply all the bits you need and specifically relay bases that clip together and fuse boxes. Mount all of those you need on a plate or bracket and start wiring from there.
You could start with the module on the bracket and add alongside it anything extra you need.

I have taken your advice and left the module thing alone. I'm just getting a new loom with more up to date relay and fuse provision.
