You are not too far away from the Oxo Tower, so for a different experience you could try Bincho Yakitori. Sort of a Japanese tapas with beer type of thing.

Can't find a website, but 020 7803 0858 is the number.

Coccoon (fun, feels quite "exclusive&quotwink

Bincho Yakitori isn't "posh" as such. Is in the Oxo building a short walk from the Eye.

Beer and skewers of various grilled meats and veg. So yuo can order as much or as little as you like. Plenty of different combinations if you feel brave, grilled chicken skin anyone smile

Benehanas (sp) on Kings rd. I haven't been there myself but comes highly recommended by a few mates, like a mongulian bbq thing but they put more of a show on! not a quiet romantic restaurant but entertaining.
