I got info from time to time for other people in the industry about speed camera's and this sort of thing.
Obviously it could be false, but it comes from guys who should be in the know and better to be safe than sorry

A bit of useful info for anyone using the M25
As of February 15th all cameras on the M25 between J10 and 15 (A3 to the M40) are going digital and having their threshold set at 80mph (true speed) and will be active 24/7, (as opposed to peak times only/93mph at present).
Yes, I heard the very same thing last night from a met related source. The tolerance is 2mph + 10% over the displayed speed on the gantry. 24/7. That makes it a 79.2mph limit on a clear day. There's talk of a discount for bulk purchases....As of February 15th all cameras on the M25 between J10 and 15 (A3 to the M40) are going digital and having their threshold set at 80mph (true speed) and will be active 24/7, (as opposed to peak times only/93mph at present).
Aparrantly, one has the choice to vote against the thought police at the next election. Trouble is, all the parties have the same policy. Welcome to the free west.
