Inner Wheel Arch

Hi All

I am missing an off side\drivers side inner wheel arch (the one that attaches to the bulkhead) S3. Can anyone advise where I could get a replacement.

Hi Tony

I guess that if the scrappies dont have one (and they have not had good press on here recently) you'll be needing to make one...

either from a trailer wheel arch or a caravan inner wheel arch cut down as required.

or from a pattern made from one of ours... it is not a complicated piece of kit so basic fibreglassing skills should get you a passable effort I would have thought... I could photo and measure mine if you want to go that route...

Talk to Douglas Valley as another post says they have an S3 in at the moment

Hi Tony i purchased both inner wheel arches from TET mouldings located in poulton le fylde just outside Blackpool, the guys name is Trevor Bee and the phone no. is 01253892342 web site address listing parts and prices is www.b-link.co.uk/tet very helpful also purchased a s3 bonnet from him great quality.Hope this helps Tom.

Thanks for the advice

I was in Douglas Valley a month or so ago they didn't have any at that time in fact there wasn't a lot left of the two s series cars they had.
As my fiberglassing skills are questionable I will probably try TET Mouldings, not to far from me either.

I contacted TET Mouldings today but they only have the arches which attach to the bonnet not the rear ones wich attach to the bulkhead. Also spoke to TVR Car Parts who say they could have a mould made from an original part then have replacement arches made, but I don't have an original part. Does anyone know where there may be one for sale? If I have to try and make one could anyone tell me if the off side arch is an exact mirror image of the near side arch or is it a different shaped moulding?

Just had a quick look under the bonnet and it seems that they are the same size and shape but l/h and r/h so i think you will need two moulds.
Will TET make the moulds? If they could do a quick turnround I might be able to get mine off for a pattern. Chris

It was TVR Car Parts that said they could get a mould made and then have some arches made up. They said itwouldn't take long but didn't give a turnaround time. I notice you are in Lytham St Annes which I believe is near to TET Mouldings. I could give TET a call tomorrow to see if they could do the same and what the turnaround time would be.
