Wanted to take the chim out for a weekly run (well last one was week and half ago) and she wont start.
There is still power but I get this funny noise when I start (like kkchhh), after speaking to my Indie he said battery low.
So I have lowered the drivers window so I cannot get shut out and will go out tomorrow to buy an Accumate.

Can I get one at Halfords ? (with lighter lead)

ETA: Looked at their web site and does not recognise Accumate in search.

They don't sell Accumate but I have seen a similar battery conditioner in there - not sure whether it had a lighter adapter though.

No, their cheapo one comes with clips. It is easy to make up a lighter lead though.

Bought one about a month ago. They also come with a lead that allows you to bolt onto the battery with a long flying lead that, in the Chimaera, reaches the window.

I've been using the Halfrauds one for over a year now. Connected the leads to the battery, and fed the fly lead through the bulkhead, and up under the dash.

Seems OK to me.
