Got out to the bike this morning, some tit had reversed into it.
grrrrr.
So i'm bikeless until I can get a new clip on, new wingmirror, new fairing, new brake lever.
The bloke left a note, thank god, and i've phoned him and he's willing to pay for the damage.
Bearing in mind I was flashed by a camera yesterday, maybe God's trying to tell me something?

Sympathise with you. Went out to my bike yesterday and it had been knocked over/reversed into in the car park, broken mirror, bent brake lever and snapped off foot peg. Not easy to ride home. Woman left a note and I'm waiting to hear back from her answer machine!

like what?
What am I to expect, a lightning bolt to the head?

Also, got rearended by a knackered old vespa last night. Didn't even realise I'd been hit until the rider came up next to me at the next set of lights and said 'not that you care or anything, but your bikes fine!'
Tyre contact only, methinks...

Such things come in 3's...

Tell your insurer. They offender may well say they'll pay, right until the time when you get the quote together, they're suprised by the price, and change their mind. I had someone knock the left footpeg and clutch lever off my SV while I was riding it - a very near miss! He said he'd pay until he found out it was £130 for parts and labour. I then spent about 18 months chasing the guy through the uninsured loss recovery on my policy - it eventually went to the small claims court before I was finally paid out.

The damage is about £300 quid...
And I'm TPO - i've got Legal cover if I need it though...

Tell the insurance company. When I was knocked off the bloke said he would pay but I still told the insurance company. I phoned them up and told them it had been sorted once I had the money.
