Paint protection for the front valence

I am now looking to tidy up the car, and have a front end respray scheduled very soon (the theives made a bit of a mess of the paintwork). Has anyone taken steps to use a paint guard or armourfend just for the front valence, which seems susceptible to stone chips. I don't want to do the bonnet, as it it abvious where you see the edge.

If you don't mind me asking, what did you use, who did it for you, how much did it cost, and have you been pleased with the results?
