laughlaughlaugh nice Pete !!

leo you could retro fit TC but i would have thought it would be better to learn to drive the car correctly ,there is alot of grip and you have to abuse them before they start to let go unless of course you are going to have 3000BHP then of course you will need it !!!

Hi Kyle,

Just seen that you have TWO Ultima GTRs listed under your profile. Is there something you want to tell us all ? Must be Russ's influence ! smile

Anyway, sorry for radio silence, will catch up soon I promise. Am tied up this weekend but free next for a blast over to see how your engine is coming along ?

Regards,

Tony

PS - After much umming and aahing I Have ordered the wing, should get it mid Feb and it will be straight on the car.

PPS - Checking dates for France !

I have the Racelogic TC in both my BMW´s and am also going
to put it in my Ultima when it will be built.

Good to have when it´s wet.

I'm using the Motec M8 for my traction control. Just running all the cables etc for the time being then seting up once on the road.

For many the attraction is the aggressive nature of the Ultima and the brute acceleration experienced with high power V8's. One might suggest that cars like these are hairy chested drivers cars and as such many will respond that the mere suggestion of adding these nanny state computer controlling devices like TC or dare I say it ABS takes the real skill of driving out of the car.

One might also suggest that it is perhaps even a bit hairdressery and say that traction control is in one's right foot and slippy diff. However, of course, personal choice is what it's all about!
