528 E39 M-sport Problems

Hi,

Does anyone have problems with the car warping brake discs, i have gone through two pairs one BMW genuine pair and one from ebay (mintex i think)?. I have done around 1000 miles since the last genuine BMW pair change and they are now juddering slightly. I took the car to a mate who has a reputable garage and he said it was warping again! I dont drive particularly quickly, and i am forever getting the speile from BMW saying that the parts for this car are designed for higher performance etc etc.

Secondly the car is now cutting out when cold! it starts then the revs drop, throttle pedal dips slightly if you have slight pressure on it, it rises and falls intermittently untill it cuts out. This is at idle if you drive it for a couple if minutes it settles to normal? both cam sensors have been changed recenlty.

Your calipers may be seizing, and getting stuck 'on', causing excessive heat build-up. You can try dosing-up the calipers with copper-grease and checking the guiding bolts for corrosion.
