Seem to have aquired bonnet knock on the near side up the top. The bonnet seems to be moving and knocking even on idle, what can I do, was thinking about putting a couple of those stick on feet that you get with PC's etc

Broken bonnet lock rod, almost certainly.
The alloy tube (about as strong as toilet paper) fractures where the thread goes into the white plastic lock rod end. fixed mine by driving a steel shaft down the centre of the tube when on way to Le Mans this year - appears to have cured it!

They're cheap and easy to fit, parts from TVR Gear

I did something similar with some heavy duty 3m double sided sticky pads - helps stop lift and rubbing. You'd think they might have taken a little time and a few extra pennies to come with such a plan at the factory.

ah, I forgot to add that you need to de-stickify ( a Bushism?) one side of the pads.

Does not seem to be the locking rods, both seem ok.

I think the locking rods enter into rubber bushes, on my car these are in poor condition which allows the bonnet to rattle somewhat.

...and even if the lock rods look OK, you need to check that the white plastic caps are wound out far enough at the outer end so the cones seat tightly in the rubber bushes on the bonnet. Bit of trial and error to get it spot on!
