Had to travel from Bournemouth to Manchester last night, and ended up stuck on the A34 since they decided to shut it

oh, and back roads round Chesterfield in the dark and with a slight snow are much fun

I've done about 8 hours or more of driving in the standard Elise seats and ... well ... it was a bit uncomfortable by the end of the journey, but my pelvis was still intact!
I've been looking around for replacement seats for awhile. I'm quite interested in the Sport 160 seats, as they have a relatively similar design to the standard seats. Which did you go for? 111S, Sport 160, Corbeau?

I failry regularly do long journeys in my car. Plymouth - Hethel - Plymouth in a day is the longest on the original seats. I've replaced the originals with S1 111S seats which make longer journeys more comfy for my backside.
Bedford - Plymouth after a day on track feels like you've been in the car forever!
Lotus Trim shop are the people top talk to about Probax seats and lots of other trim options for your car.

After driving to Italy this year through France and Switzerland for 2 weeks avoiding all motorways and seeing NO traffic what so ever, we were stuck in our Exige for 13 hours for the final trip to home in Exeter from Rhiems thanks to the M25 closed, M20 closed, 14mile tailbacks, no diversion signs once off the M/way and a broken Sat Nav. leaving for England at midnight this year and if this happens again Im emigrating and taking up French nationality!!!!

Went with the Sport 160 ones in the end - much more comfortable than the standard ones, plus they go with the new interior I'm sorting out
