Now the Cerb is 100% mechanically sorted (for the moment) its time to turn to the poor old girls looks.
At the moment, its a black with green metallic flecs (don't know the name), only visible in direct sunlight with black and green leather which is in decent condition.
I was going along with the thought that I'd just have to have the same colour again to match the interior, but after a little searching using google images, I've found a T350 in a colour called 'reflex charcoal' that looks stunning and should match the interior great.
Does anyone know if the Cerbera could be orded in that colour, and if any pics of one exist?
What do you think to the idea, or is changing the colour from original frowned upon?

Im in exactly the ame position - Currently mine is Purple Illusion with Dark Purple Interior, my colour choice for the exterior is a plain simple White - not metallic or Pearl, just plain white! Why white? Well firstly I just like it, and secondly for practical reasons. Any stone chips or scuffs that happen in the future can be easily repaired by nipping down to Halfords and buying a can of Ford Diamond White. Am I mad??
sounds same as mine halcyon hebrides not sure of spelling think its a merc colour?
I was going to go down the plain non metalic black route for same reason as going white -easy to fix!
plus do you know how much reflex charcoal will cost just in materials!!!

Reflex Charcoal is the best colour for a Cerb if you ask me. Wont be cheep though mate. Purely a guess here but i'd bet on at least £500 per liter.
Full retail on that without any discount was around the £750 mark for a ltr.Well it was for mine anyway.I can get a discount through a mate.So i payed nothing like that sum.JensenA said:

Actually white isn't a bad colour to look dirty. Dirt shows up much worse on black/dark coloured cars. Not sure about white for yours with the interior. That light purple seems to match the interior perfectly, although maybe contrasting colours? Last time I saw your wing I was very impressed as you couldn't tell it was a spray can job.

My fav tvr picture i reckon
in reflex charcoal

I like that - I think it works really well because the interior is dark, with red splashes for accent/dangerin reflex charcoal

wow!The guy I want to do it, can't get me in for about 3 months, so I've got the time to save a bit more - looks like its going to be worth it.

It's Halcyon Hebrides -- it says so in the owner's manual...I always thought it was a pity that the green only comes out in really strong sunlight and after you've just cleaned it. Reflex charcoal would be nice but I've never seen it in the flesh. I believe David Smith ended up getting a red interior which looks great with Halcyon Hebrides or Reflex Charcoal, but although his interior was originally green the bits around the transmission tunnel were black. Red seats and green transmission tunnel would be

have just been looking into the cost of reflex charcol for my griff, after speaking to gerbil i have opted to use imperial green (lotus carlton colour) as the cost of paint was £580+vat per litre. I wouldnt need anywhere as much as a cerb but way more than i could justify on paint..
gerbil at surface and design can get the paint for you..
