Lambda sensors who makes them/which vehicle from?
Discussion
Not sure if these will do the job, found them one day on a completely unrelated search:
www.gendandirect.co.uk/viewproduct.php?product=O24WIRE
£36 sounds pretty reasonable though.

Drat!
Wonder if the 3 wire they sell would do the job?
www.gendandirect.co.uk/viewproduct.php?product=O23WIRE
Output signal - oscillating between 0.1 and 0.9 volts - so close!
Erm, not that it really affects me anymore
At least it seems the 4 wire will do for my current needs though, just hope I don't break the existing sensor when I swap in the new manifold soon!

Emailed the website to see if the three wire will work, but as Joolz says, the ECU software stipulates a sensors that reads between 0V & 1/1.5V, with the 0V taken as lean & 1V rich so these are unlikely to fit the bill. As these are short of this range in both directions they will tell the ECU that the mix is never fully rich nor lean
!! I have emailed you Joolz for a price on the (insert name here) sensors so speak soon.

I have emailed you Joolz for a price on the (insert name here) sensors so speak soon. The Lambda sensors fitted to the Cerbera, Tuscan, Chimaera, Griffith and other hot wire injection TVR's are from the Classic Range Rover. They are the Lucas 3 wire sensor, part no. ERR6729 , or Lucas NTK D3G. Sagem (Japanese replacement)also do an identical part which from experience has proved more reliable. The Lucas part retails at around £130 plus VAT, with the Sagem item £45 plus VAT. Both these items come with the correct plug, and are a direct replacement. If you ask your local motor factors for a 1996 (approx) 3.9 Range Rover Lambda Sensor, you will get the right part.
Universal sensors are OK (ish), but they require the original sensor's plug to be cut off and spliced/crimped onto the bare wires of the new sensor. Even when corretly done, this can lead to moisture creeping in, and yet more engine management gremlins!

Have a look at www.lambdasensor.com. They list the tvr replacement items on site. Direct fit is £85 and universal (cut and splice jobbie) £73.
