Sorry for a saddo techie question but I am in awe of your photography. You seem to get a near 3d quality that I, with my D80, just don't seem to reach. Is it the processing chip of the D2x? Using a tripod for everything? Or just magic fingers??!
And your website.. beautifully crafted, designed, quick. I have your site bookmarked on my toolbar and if I ever need inspiration, I just click on for a while!

Well that's very kind of you to say. Generally no tripod, and as I've mentioned a few times (cough), right place, right time.... although there was no light today, so they *really* are just snaps - in P mode at 400 ISO (and RAW as snow is a bugger to white balance). Regarding your 3D - I'd just suggest that adding/adjusting 'highlights and shadows' are the key (NOT CONTRAST), then sharpen for web. That's all I really do.
Fact is, taking photos of Bearded Collies in the Highlands is about as easy a gig as you can get (provided they stand still - which they generally don't)
