We are applying to get on Houx and we have asked for seats in Lagache, but because of our debacle last year we have been hot off the mark and we sent the form in yesterday. Sorry paperbag I assumed you'd made your own arrangements

It'd be great to all be together again - in our group we have Al, Bob, Me, Arran, the two Andys (and respective ladies this year), my Dad and a mate from work. We are planning to be a bit more organised and sort out fridge, bbq etc. like in 2005&6.

I could ring the club office and ask for another space attached to our order if you'd like? If you want, drop me an email with your details and I'll do the best I can.

The Race? ... What Race? crew are booked on Houx Annexe this year as when Rviant put the booking form through last year, all the Houx places had gone!

We did consider going with the PH/WRR group but decided that it was simply too expensive and BSJ is quite a walk from the Village.

We'll be on the 09.00 tunnel on the Thursday as usual.

We've got 4 - 5 cars going from North Yorks, hoping to tie up with Paul's group as they come south and anyone else if the timing's right down the A1 to Dover.

We stay at the Travel Lodge is Ashford on the Wednesday night. There'll be me and StuB in my car, and Blueyonder in his Chimaera.

then all the other RWR crew meet up there 7am Thursday morning and we have a gentle trundle ( as only a convoy of Ferrari, Lamborghini, TVR, Ford GT can!) down to the tunnel terminal. Usually takes about 5 minutes angel

think that is the same place Greensleaves is staying, so could be a nice crowd for a quiet glass of pimms

Hi all,

not posted here before but i have just bought myself a 68 Mustang and I have booked to go through WRR. I am crossing on Thursday at 8am ferry to Dunkerque so will be traveling down Wednesday afternoon/night.

I live in Harrogate so will keep an eye on here as we get nearer the time and if a few people are going together it could be good fun going down together if thats possible.

There should be a few travelling down together from the general vacinity, I'm heading from York. May meet a bit further down and take it from there, not sure of which day as yet though.

I'm heading down on the Sunday so will already have 5 days dirt on me by the time you arrive. Will hopefully catch up with you on the Friday as I'm a bit of a Mustang fan.

You'll be glad to hear Al that this years chosen marque for the Classic British Welcome is Ferrari. See you up there for an ale and the complimentary car wash.

scratchchin What does that involve then Phil?

Although I'm hoping not to be in the Ferrari ... fingers crossed I'll be taking the 850 to 24HRS and the Ferrari to the Classic.

If Vic has her way I'll be in the Ferrari for both if you get my drift irked

We went to the CBW last year for the first time where the Healeys had centre stage. It's a very impressive display with ex Le Mans vehicles, endurance vehicles and all sorts of historic Healey motors. The CBW itself is so different to the LM experience, nice bar, string quartets, bands, car cleaning and a very relaxed atmosphere.

The drive to the Friday Parade starts here with all the classic vehicles leaving through the archway entrance. There's parking provided all over the shop for all cars, not just the sports/classics.

It'll be great to see the Ferrari's next year.

Cool ... I remember that now and would like to get to that this year as last year I missed the parade ...

however, I'm not risking getting my car back to Houx on Friday night, unless I take the long way round.
