I've finaly purchased what I hope will transform my cars handling. GAZ shocks. I intend to fit them on the car and bed them in for a couple of hundred miles before getting the geometry set up. Can someone tell me what setting they should be on at this stage? CRAIG
Shouldn't need "bedding in" (stand to be corrected there). But once your have set the ride height and set the damping to Dereks recomendations, I'd get the car to your nearest specialist for corner weighting straight away.
Topcats in Aylesbury probably aren't that far from you, they did my geo and corner weighting, absolutely spot on. They did it at the time they fitted the (Gaz) shocks, which Derek had delivered to them. So no bedding in at all.
