Hi guys,

I've got a 1996 P reg, Impreza Turbo estate for sale. I only got it the other day, but have since got another car that I think I can drive for a year and sell it on and should equal a years free motoring, so wondering what this car is worth.

It's done 120K with the odd few scuffs here and there, bot nothing eye catching.

MOT runs out it May & it has a full 6 months Tax

Any help with what it might be worth would be appreciated.

Even with 120K on the clock.....

If you can sell it with 12mths MOT it should be worth c. £2K.
Other option is it runs out of MOT, you claim back the 6mths tax and break it. You should get maybe a grand or so back doing that, or sell it as is but without MOT, claim back your 6mths tax and it might be worth £500/£600. MOT'd for 3mths isn't much really and it's probably not worth much more than selling it without MOT so you may as well get 12mths MOT on it if it doesn't need much doing. Is there any service history with it, do you know if it has been serviced regularly, and was the cambelt done at 100K miles.

Good luck thumbup

I'll let this go for £1800 if anyone wants to come and give it ago. Need to sell as the other car I got was to good to miss out on.

It's based in Ashford Kent.

Snap!!

That's exactly what i would like to do with my Sportwagon when i get another car. Strip it, seam weld it, proper cage and serious mods all round and use it as a track car only.

I look forward to hearing about yours biggrin
