New Lotus website - our wishes come true!
Discussion
An improvement, but some glaring usability issues on it. For starters, when you click cars, it brings up a screen asking you to select location, but your eyes are drawn to the list on the left with the scroll bars and you can easily miss (as I did, and someone else I asked to look) the "europe" option all on it's own.
Also it gives the impression that every Elise looks the same. There's no quick way to go back to the list of Elise variants. I know this probably seems petty, but they are obvious things that any competent web developer should get right - then again, this is a Lotus website, they aren't known for getting the obvious things right a lot of the time.

have they stopped selling the N/A exige as they only have the 's' listed?
cant believe I would have missed the news of them dropping it.

I think that it wasn't selling that well, which is not that surprising since it's not massively different to a 111R (performance stats are the same) which has the added practicality etc. There doesn't seem to be a way of seeing the colours offered on a car like there was on the old one, although definately better overall. The used car locator is better as well and not stuck in that annoying small window that you couldn't resizecant believe I would have missed the news of them dropping it.

Good news on the new site, much improved.....BUT (there's always a but) the colour selector should change the car when you click on a colour - not just a box of the colour as you'd get in a paper brochure.
The point of a decent manufacturer website is to see their product in all it's glory - I can't help thinking a proper configurator would attract more customers.
