Has Anyone Replaced there gearbox.

If so did the replacement come with a digital sender, if so do you still have it.
as all the wedges are manual, but I'm fitting a digital dash in the RC and need a digital sender.

and yes I have, but it was in a Porsche so it's not relevent.
But i did have issues with digital senders so I understand what you're on about at least.

I've replaced 4 gearboxes!

However, all mechanical speedo drives. Now I have a good selection of different nylon cogs!

Is the digital output from the road speed sensor any use..

Where does that come from. did not know it had one. where is it located.

The speedo cable is very short and goes thru the bulk head to engine bay and into a small box.. another speedo cable then goes across the back of the engine bay - over the other side and on to the LT77 gearbox.

Out of the small box (road speed sensor) come 2 or 3 wires and at least one of these goes to the ECU (Hot wire only I think..).

It's part of the idle control system.

we normally use a sensor picking up from the back of the studs on a front hub..

so you get 5 pulses per rotation of the wheel

Was plaing to have an engine drive input and also an input from each wheel.
