I stand by my love for it.
I disapprove of the endcan, but surely one can get an aftermarket stubby.

Its gorgeous.
Am i'm going to order one on my (new, sparkly, Black) AMEX just to spite you all...

Picked up a sales brochure at the weekend, and they have had a good go at hidin the styling with artistic lighting.....so it doesn't look to bad.

Still ended up at the bottom of the brochure pile, seem to be strangle drawn to the new zx10 at the mo.

Wrong Wrong Wrong

The Blade is Great looking!

The ZX10 on the other hand looks like it fell out the ugly tree hitting every branch on the way down.

Chilli,

Glad you've changed your mind. smile The Blade is hideous and the ZX10 is its twin brother! Let's hope both bikes ride an awful lot better than they look, because visually, neither of them deserves garage space.

what he said, ive owned 3 Fireblades in the past, a 1995 one, a 2003 954 model and a 2006 1000RR, i would have quite happily spent out and bought another if only it didnt look more Anne Widicombe than Kiera Knightley.

It whipped the ass of the competition in the first 2 tests i've read!

They were pretty horrible in MCN today about the 2008 GSXR1000!

Just shows you how ridiculous bike journalists are, 2008 is same as 2007 gixer and they all said last year it was still miles in front.

Other bikes have moved forwards - clearly passed the Gixxer.

No, they reckon that up until 2006, it was great, then lost it's way in 2007.
The GSXR1000 came last in MCN and Cycle Weekly.

I wouldnt wipe my @rse with MCN anyway.

Point is a bike cannot be good one year then "horrible" the next

Regardless of what the competition is doing.

The really issue is people buy bikes on brand loyalty and looks, bummer for the new blade then.

Is there truly such a thing as a 'shite' litre supersport from Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha or Kawasaki? Probably not. They're just all varying degrees of greatness.
