Best looking 1000cc bike - votes please

Hello,

I'm thinking about getting myself a litre bike to compliment the DRZ

So, I've been looking through the bikes of 2001 (ish) onwards, The different between HP doesn't really bother me too much...I mean, I'll probably be faster on the DRZ for fear of chilli-ing a litre bike

More important is which bike looks best!

So, my vote goes for the 2004 model R1... Timeless in that dark shiny red colour that they did.

Andy,

The R1 is the best looking 1000, but you'll end up with hot legs/arse due to the routing of the exhaust. The 05/06 Blade is also very nice looking. Personally, I'd have a GSX-R 1000 K5.

For design 'landmarks' I'd go with a 916...I've never really been a Ducati man, but at the time that was just....WOW!
