Very much dependant on brand, model and style of usage.

The factory Goodyear Fiorano F1s lasted 5000 miles and a few trackdays before I retired the rears to tyre heaven.

I then packed on some Kumho V70s which did about 3000 before the rears, again, decided to visit the tyre graveyard in the sky.

You could make a set of tyres last 10,000 miles or 200 miles, just depends what you want to do with them.

Why you ask?

Well in all honesty its just me being curious and seeking knowledge, i thought the best idea was to ask the owners themselves. Stumbled across the gtr on the net a few months ago looking into kit cars n fell in love.

I did about 4,000 miles (each) on two sets of Goodyear's. Currently have Michelin pilot sport and lasting well. Fronts last double the back tyres. No track use but plenty of visits to bruntingthorpe.

Should be able to get them as 335 is quite a common size for supercars! Also worth mentioning is that the Goodyears come with 5mm tread depth new while the michelin come with the more standard 8mm.

I'm interested in fitting the Michelins - that extra tread depth is just too tempting! I can find the rears (335/30/18) but not the fronts (245/35/18). What size do you use on the front & where did you get them from?

Also, can anyone comment on the Pirelli P-Zero Rosso?

I,ve got p-zero-rosso,s on mine they have done 8000 and are still in good order .......must be a the Can-am !!!

Pirelli p-zeros imo are crap, they offer reasonable grip in the wet but when pushed in quick road use they are simply not upto the job (loads of slow corner understeer and back end weave on hard acceleration), god knows how bad they would be on the track!!! I cant wait to get rid of the pirellis Kumhos are the ones imo.

I got the Pirelli's - they were cheap. But now regret it. They are adequate but IMO are too hard for an Ultima, I think they are designed for cars that are about 50% heavier. they struggle to get up to temperature; mind you as Tuxman said they seem like they'll last forever....

I am still on my original set of P-Zeros, 10600 miles and 8 trackdays, mind you they will need changing pretty soon! I bought some of that Tyre Grip (softener) stuff from the AutoSport Show so I am looking forward to seeing what difference that makes!

I like the Pilot PS2's I ran on the street the last 2 years. Grippy and still not worn out. Ride a lot better that the Goodyears.
BFG now have a new 335 size in the KDW, only available in USA though.
Goodyear F1 Fioranos no longer available in USA last I checked.
