The colour of my 2000 Chim 450 is supposed to imperial blue. The colour code under the bonnet says that it is P422-5WN3B.

I had Halfords knock up an imperail blue but it is much darker than the car.

Anyone help with the code?

5WN3B is a code for Ford Imperial Blue (although tvrcc lists it as YAV7B?) And your car looks like Imperial Blue, so maybe they muffed it up?

I used paints4u and got a perfect match for mine being Peacock Blue. search under Ford colours, it is there.

I'm sure the only reason a green one might be any faster is because it is a Chim 500. Of course a blue (especially imperial blue) 500 would be faster than any green one.

Thanks dogbucket - I'll give paints4u a go.
