Rodger (Monkfish) and I are doing the rwyb day on the 10th.

Anyone else interested will see you there.

If you think you`ll be doing more than 110 terminal you`ll need a Crash Helmet.

www.rwyb.com for info.

See you there.

Sorry Jez once again, but I am at Goodwood the following Saturday in the RX, but the Monaro will be sitting on the side lines just in case I have a little problem with the rex yikes

It is going to be a fun packed day there as my son and his mates are running a 500 horse Skyline against me, yeap, there dead meat, it is their first time, but I have raced there many times.

So, maybe next time we can get it together.

It is a track day Saturday 16th run by Easytrack, it was a cheapie at £159 for the whole day. There is just over thirty cars going, and it is an open pit lane day, so in and out as you like once the first rush of hot blood has been out there.

There are a few tasty bits of kit going, and a handful of pugs. if you are at a lost on that day why not come along. Better wrap up though as it is a drafty old place, sorry to say that I personaly will not be giving passenger rides, but there are many that do, I think Easytrack charge a tenner and you get to chose who you want to die with!!!! ha ha ha.rofl

Come on down Jez, you know that you want to!

Sometimes at the end of the day you can buy a few laps, don't worry to much about the noise (98db) as they can loan/rent you some race cans.

FYI - be careful offering passenger rides. In the event of an accident on track even if it's not the drivers fault they can be held liable and a claim made against them by the passenger.

Depends what mods you have? 500BHP should put you in the 108-110mph area.

Weather forecast looks good. I'll be there probably in the Monaro rather than the ute.

I managed 109mph in the lardy 2000 GTS with heads and small cam. 386rwhp. (ET sucked due to traction at 13.2)
Looking forward to seeing everyones trap speeds smile

you'll be lucky, bigwheel only managed a best of 14.5 at Crail with that setup and a top speed of 103 iirc.

I did a 13.9 in the ute with just a map (370ish). Same gearing as an 04 CV8. Its all in the launch. If you cant a get 400bhp + monaro below 14 secs, you are not driving it right!! More practice required! Or you LSD is not working!
