They are so few and far between you go wherever you can find the right car.

Yes, very rare cars. Mitch his selling his lovely example and he's not a million miles away from you so that would be well worth a trip over the hills...

I've only ever seen one in Brilliant Blue and that belongs to ChrisGTA on Alfaowner, he's definately not selling.

Seriously chap, if you have realistic ambitions about owning a GTA SW, you may need to be flexible on colour and they carry a premium over the saloon.

Well as the owner of the 'Snot' green one mentioned, I can second that. When I was looking I came to that conclusion, fancied red as I have never managed to own a Red Alfa yet, Brilliant Blue would have been second choice, but the 156 I was replacing was that colour so it sort of didn't make sense. the only colour I didn't want was black, I just don't like black cars.

I would never in a million years deliberately chosen Borieal Green but, and it surprised me, I get a lot of favorable comments about it. It's not the sort of colour people associate with a performance car, which makes it a very good 'Q car'. It was also by far the best around at the time, so I had to put colour out of my head.

Not that I'm trying to talk you into it or anything....wink

I was in the same situation when looking for a 147 GTA. I knew what I wanted, Black with a Tan interior and all I could find were Red with Black interiors.

In the end I found a great car, just with the wrong colours.

With so few numbers, it is important to find a car in good condition, etc. You can change the colour, but it is a lot cheaper to change your mind.

Same with the 156 V6 wagon - fair few saloons but no wagons, and thankfully I didn't mind what colour I had as long as I could get one! Got the best example I could with grey leather (have to admit I didn't really want one with red leather...) and dark blue outer.

Italian tan leather interior. Never ever let an opportunity to own a car with that pass you by. I swear you even smell it smile

Ill get back in my geek box now, sorry!
