Anyone see it lastnight?
The Lotus Carlton was very impressive considering it was almost 20 years old.

It has long been proved that VBH aka "the big squealer", cant drive Lotus to save her life. She has zero car finesse.

Personally anyone who would take a VX8R over a lotus Carlton needs a psychiatrist.

Yeah, and shes getting quite a fat little squealer these days as well...did you see her thighs when she was leaning on that car? Jeez those legs alone un-do all the weight saving the Lotus engineers achieve biggrin.

Their researchers want shooting- VBH said the RB5 Impreza was released as a tribute to Richard Burns, following his death!! That was a 99 model and he didn't die until 2005. You can forgive them their crap opinions, but getting straight facts wrong (sensitive ones at that), is criminal. The RB5 was released to celebrate his return to the Subaru team I think.

I only watch it in the absence of anything else!

I thought that as well! That was just a chavved up standard old Subaru. It also had a tacky Colin Mcrae sticker on the back as well. What will they have next week, win Dazza's Corsa 1.2 (with rear seat lowering performance pack) wink

As much as VBH annoys me, just be grateful Lovejoy got the boot. Mockney twunt...

Without wishing to be a pedant, she didnt say that. She said it celebrated 'the much missed Richard Burns', but didnt say what so not death or return to Subaru or in fact anything.

Pedant mode off

Sorry that was poor...

At the end of the programme when they were showing the RB5, VBH said that the car was produced in celebration of 'the much missed Richard Burns'. She didnt say that the RB5 was produced in tribute to him after he had died. She just said that Richard Burns was much missed. If she has said something like 'the RB5 was produced in commemoration of Richard Burns' then she would have been wrong, but she didnt say that. The way the script was worded could have suggested that they were saying the RB5 was produced after RB's death, but it didnt say it was!

Hopefully that kind of makes sense.

But I am not on the telly comparing car on a track. It is not my job to be good on a track.

mmmmmmmmm scratchchin just think, Maclaren may introduce a super duper ultra quick merc to remember Lewis Hamilton just incase he dies in 10 years time. Seriously though, they could have worded it slightly better.
