Back on the road for 2 week and 150 miles covered

Hi Guys,

I have covered about 150 miles now and have been taking it easy just to make sure things bed in nicely.
I just wanted to check a couple of things that seem right but i just wanted a second opinion...

Oil Pressure ranges from 30 on idle to 60 on acceleration.
From empty tank to empty tank i got 26mpg!!! (best i have had so far)
Temp sits at 70 when moving...goes up to 90 when sat ticking over for 8 or so minutes but doesnt get any higher

I think the above sounds about right....

Still got loads to do but it is getting there...dash off tonight for retrim!!!!

(any spelling mistakes are deliberate and are for Spend and That Daddy to fight over )

I'm always dubious about any oil pressure and coolant temperatures per se but the ranges you're seeing - that's the important thing - look good.

They didn't swap it for a diesel did they?

I was driving it like a girl though...very rarely went above 70mph or 3k revs....

Cheers That Daddy....Baby is now nearly a toddler....nearly 9 months old!!!
All those peole that said i would not have it back on the road before her 1st birthday....!!!!
and yes i am going to drive it till it drops...!!!!

Well i am pleased the general opinion seems to be that those ranges seem to be normal....cheers guys...

If the engine is rebuilt don't drive it too steady. It will need some reasonably hard driving to bed in correctly.

All pretty much the same as mine - apart from the mpg that is
Oil pressure will reduce slightly when hot but yours are pretty much on a par with most I've seen/driven.
Temps are also good - mine sometimes struggles to get over 60 in this weather when on the move but rises when at idle.
Fantastic job on the car by the way!!
