Hi Guys,

I want to buy a 360 and am not sure where I should buy from and where I should avoid? any good or bad experiences? I test drove a car from Marenellos in Egham but found them horrible to deal with and after being told that they can't sell a car with Tubi on decided to avoid them.

Any advise appreciated, I have my deposit and sold my Exige so now I just need the right car.

I have always been very pleased with Kent High Performance cars also called The Ferrari Centre. Thoroughly decent bunch of people who actually know what they're talking about! Also they have a fondness for the Dark Side......

As I have mentioned on this site before the best person to contact is Steve Palmer at Midland Ferrari,nr worcs.
They have a good site with a lot of stock.
I bought a 360f1 from Steve last year, ex car and ex service from Steve and his team.

Maranello in Egham won't sell a car with a Tubi on it? Why's that?

I would say if you intend to buy a brand spanking new Ferrari in the future, then find a good Ferrari dealer get a used car and stick with them. Not sure about the UK but here in the US if a Ferrari dealer doesn't think they can trust you to buy a new car and trade it back to them you'll never get one, don't care how much money you have.

If not and you are just looking for a good time with a nice Italian lady (nothing wrong with that) then use one of the recommended independents.

What are the advantages in going through a broker like Dion? Is it just the fact that they can find stock that you can't, or can they save you money on the purchase price?

Both, and you'll actually get some honesty from Dion, unlike 99% of dealers out there. There's the odd pocket of good official dealers - people have read my support for Graypaul in the past and the previously horrific Maranello now have the odd good guy - but for a 360 I'd prob start with Dion and see what he knows/advises.

I personally would'nt get to hung up about finding a good place to buy a Ferarri from as it's hard enough to find a good Ferrari as it is.

Find a car you like. Get a PPI done by someone else who has never worked on that car before. If you like the results, buy it.

Most companies are generally respected, although like any business they have the occasional detractors. Plus, they read forums like Club Scuderia on a regular basis so are aware of how easy it is to spread negative comments and tend to fix things quite quickly.

That's the best possible advice you could ever get - no matter what they say about the car, do find someone who has no connection with them (and ideally no axe to grind with them either) to inspect it...and I mean a proper inspection, not just a jack-it-up and quick poke around with a torch....
