Thanks

I'm off to get soup now

What do I do if there is no tomato today?

You could have what I've just had - Hoola Hoop and Guiness surprise.

1) Take 1 pint of guiness and 1 packet of Hoola Hoops (original).

2) Begin consumption.

3) When you're least expecting it, Jeremy Beadle will jump out from behind the pint glass.

Of course, these days, the surprise bit is sadly lacking but I think it's important to maintain the name as a mark of respect.

RIP, JB

You find Undead Zombie Fear-Beadle less surprising than Regular Beadle?

How rare.

Doesn't have the surprise element anymore.

For starters you can smell him and secondly the constant moaning of "Haaaaaannndddzzzzzz..." gives him away quite easily.

If, on the other hand, you would like a sensible response.....

I try and do tasty and filling lunches that are healthy too.

This week has been Tom Yum soup, couple of pieces of fruit, vegetable slices for dipping in hoummous and a bag of mini cheddars :P

Normally it's a wholemeal pitta bread with cheese/ham, lettuce, cucumber and tomato in place of the soup. Just fancied a change this week smile

Is this the kind of thread the PH-oldies are complaining about? PH isn't what it used to be?

Forget soup & sandwiches, pickled onions is where it's at...

I dunno matey, it's all gone to the cocking dogs these days... unless you can talk for 700 pages about which model has the best breasts that is......

So anyway, lunch today, I'm thinking oysters.

Excellent idea. With a cheeky little sauce of red wine vinegar & shallots.
