That is the absolute, utter, total business.

Enjoy. This is the first 996 Cab that genuinely makes me want one more than my Box S.

When funds allow....

Despite the inevitable jibes about posuers, etc, I have to agree with The Don.

With a minor tweak here or there to the plumbing, as it were, in order to liberate a little more vibrato from the horn section, the regular 996TT experience al fresco'd must be simply stupendous.

Nobody seriously denies the sensory overload aka the F360 Spider, nor should they here.

Fab.

Nice car,,,price in the UK is £96k currently $128k equates to £79.6k at that price we would all have one!

A few more £/$ would probably need to be spent to supersize it to X50 450bhp though.

Tremendous, well done Roy, I think our resident serial exotica owner from Southend has also got one on order. Absolutely delighted you're going for the extra spice version. How people sleep at night knowing they've commisioned one of these works of Art without the power upgrade to what the "turbo" should be anyway is beyond me.

I don't see so many SL55 being sold when this UberRagTop hits the streets. In fact Mercedes should consider this a kick in the nutz, with the ball well and truly blasted back into their side of the court.

I believe you may be commenting on the colour scheme rather than the vehicle beneath it. Eh Kommandant? Possibly going for the SL55AMG market?

Mine should be in late November or early December. I ordered the car yesterday (the dealer called and I had too) but I can change the color. I'm debating between Ferrari's Tour de France Blue and the Aston Martin Blue. Then grey interior with blue carpets...

The only depressing part is that my current Turbo, with 2,100 miles on it, is only worth about 92K retail in the US
