Alarm problem

Alarm started sounding for no reason this afternoon, cars in the garage with accumate plugged in, had to disconnect the battery to shut it up, any ideas before i ring the alarm guru

That's usually a dying siren backup battery isn't it. Can't understand why disconnecting the car's battery would stop it, so I'm with Fubes, time for a call to Carl.

Mine died in the middle of an exhibition hall (with several thousand people thinking I was stealing it), I called SteveT 'Help' he said call Carl, 15 mins later all fixed.
