Throttle spindle removal

Can the throttle spindle be removed, if so (I imagine it can) . ..

How ?

Reason being that mine at the TP end has lost one side, so activating the TP onc it's reassembled is dubious at best, not at all at worst . . . So need to replace spindle . .

No need to reply, I just got on with it and it is as simple as it looks . . . now just need to find a new spindle . .
