Got to have a new gearbox in my RR3
Discussion
As per title really. Since picking the car up 4 weeks ago, I have had a few instances of it "banging" into gear (ie. When I accelerate, the engine revs a little and then it engages with a hell of a bang)
Took it to my local LR dealer today, who have confirmed that it will require a completely new gearbox. God knows how much it would have cost if I didn't have the LR warranty with it!!

That's what warranties are for! You should just be happy your dealer has decided immediately to replace the gearbox and not fob you off with 'they all do that sir' and then wait until the day after the warranty ends and the 'box drops out onto the motorway. . . . .
