Evening All

Lots of chat at the bike show with OH and Best Mate re my next bike

Both reckon a 400CC is the way to go for my next one as a 250cc will bore me and a 600 might just not be the next step just yet.

So PH the GSXR 400? You thoughts any good?

Get a 600,
You'll tire of the 400 a lot quicker and will be wanting to change it so then costing you more money in the long run.

Hi,

I got an ER -6n for my fist bike after passign the DAS and it is great. Light weight yet really good round the corners.
My suggestion is go and sit on as many as you can and if you are lucky take some out for a test ride. It is the only way to know what you will like.

GO for it!!!!

I've got a CB-400, with the "baby blade" engine in. It's a smashing little bike, though with 51 HP I'd not say it was "powerful" but it does teach you how to ride properly, using all the gears and it really wakes up at 7k RPM.
Have you considered a gpz500? I remember my brother's being a lot of fun.

i had a GSXR400 very briefly when i was 17, it was my first proper bike and first 4 stroke although you wouldnt have thought it, it was absolutly flat then it hit a powerband and took off just like an old 2 stroke, it didnt handle greatly and overall i didnt really like it and changed it for an RVF 400 within a couple of months which i loved.
