Petrolhead Nirvana at the Ace - Monday 11th Feb

January was a bumper turnout with a great mix of cars - a really good night. As usual, the car park is reserved for us from 6pm onwards (whisper the words 'FB5K' or 'Tunnel Run' in the marshal's ear). All petrolheads are welcome for a chilled out night at the Ace with like-minded folk. We'll also have details of the FB5K Millau & Ventoux Mini-Tour.

can't believe a month has gone by already, gonna try my best to get there, have no babysitters so will be bringing my daughters, but both have been poorly so depends how they're feeling. Was a great turn up last month, hopefully the same if not more for monday.

'FB5K' or 'Tunnel Run' do i really have to say this?


I might be turning up more like 7-730 will parking be an issue at this time?

They reserve the car park for us from 6pm so the marshal on the gate will be looking for an FB5K or Tunnel Run sticker on the car. If he can't see one he's likely to ask you which group you're with, that's all.

We've decided to go old-school this evening and show the 2006 Alpine Tour movie at 8pm. We'll also have lots of photos from the September Mini-Tour to tempt everyone onto the April Millau & Ventoux Mini-Tour.

You'll be fine mate if you mention this at the gate. Just say that you've got to pick one up tonight. The car i'm arriving in doesn't have a sticker

The stickers are a quick and easy way for the marshal to see you're part of the community that the car park has been reserved for. If you don't have a sticker he'll ask you who you're with - you're not going to be turned away. They do this so that you know you're going to have somewhere to park.

Parking is reserved for us for the entire evening. If the place fills up then we have overspill parking but we haven't had to use that since one of the guys turned up in a ruddy great artic!
