Honda powered Elise for 10.5k, what a bargain! ok you have to put the engine in but still a very good price.

My thoughts too, especially with that stupid wing, cat registered puts it at 5K IMHO.

£8k plus the conversion min £7-8k including the engine and diy kit and all hidden bits you'll need = £15-16k is not cheap as chips for that car.

I must be missing the point. I was always under the impression that the conversions costs silly money & once completed can sell for around this much as stated below. I was only suggesting that this particular car would be cheap for somebody who was willing to carry out the work themselves.

Your missing the point.

That car is a recognised conversion with loads of other mods. A DIY would be worth half as much, and a registered car even less probably.

But still cheap to somebody wanting to do the work themselves & keep the car for track days etc.

No, not even remoely cheap IMO.

So it has a K20a with it, so waht? It's not a cheap K20a, and I'd rather source my own if doing a conversion, which would be another few £K again. IHMO the car's worth £5k tops.

What would the going rate be for just such an engine/box etc?
