Hi,

I am looking to purchase some leather cloth/vinyl for a TVR Chimaera. Im not sure exactly what the stuff in the interior of these is, it looks like leather but im sure it's not.

I have to replace 4 panels of it on the drivers bolster and was looking to purchase some of the original material or a similar substitute.

Does anyone have any to sell? Or do you know who sells this material.

cheers,

ben

do a google for Woolies, or Creech coachtrimming supplies, they are good for these type of things.

If you take off the old material and see a pattern on the back that might help to ID the manufacturer. If there is something that looks like a web of circles (hard to describe but you will know when you see) and maybe with the letters WS, it is vinyl from Wardle Storey, a british manufacturer who used to supply Jag etc. I would doubt TVR had the volume to develope their own colours, prob borrowed other manufacturers old ones.....

Standard half-leather trim has leather seat facings and PVC back/sides. Dash and door trim are also PVC. Original manufacturer's website: Ambla.
