I've seen a red chimp with the mohair taken off and sprayed - is that what you mean?
I'll try to find the profile ... stand by.

They have a hard top, with the added benefit that it comes off !

Wasn't it Widow maker or someone who had a proper full hard top made ?

Zertec only did a cover for the folded roof, never did a full one to my knowledge.

That Chimaera looks daft as it is neither one thing or other . . .

Yup Zertec did that 'rear cover' (Monaco or something didn't they call it?) - Clive posted recently that Zertec may be making a comeback - worth a search if you are interested.

There was a hardtop but it was discontinued thru lack of interest, which was a real pity IMHO, as many complained about the rear styling / flat poly screen. A search for hardtop here/chim should yield some relevant threads.

IIRC it will be Zertec Russell made instead of Zertec Clive....

Steve Cox had a hardtop on his sprinting S

Given that the rear sections are the same for both cars (I think) might be worth a pop

I don't think that ever left the drawing board, somebody did express an interest but that would have been pre the new PH search age limit.

Going on the costs of the various bits and pieces I've been looking at, the production/material cost for that would probably be the wrong side of £2k alone yikes

if it looked okay, then I don't reckon the price is too bad, all the ones I saw just seem to miss the mark, I did sketch up a concept which looked a bit coupe-ish.
