After owning the car for 5 years, going through various ideas as to engine and transmission, style etc, it is ready for me to collect!

It went through these stages....

3.5 V8 + 2 speed powerglide
3.5 V8 + 5 Speed supra manual box
4.6 V8 + 5 Speed Supra Box
5.0 Merc V8 + 2 speed powerglide

Now it is a 5.6 Litre M117 V8 with 560 SEL 4 speed auto gearbox.

I'm rather excited and will get some pictures when I pick it up, may be able to take a few on Saturday.

Now the hard bit starts!

What do you intend on doing with the car and how fast are you going to go?

It's mainly a ridiculous road car, I want a decent amount of runs in it to see what times I can get but after that Mike will help me set the suspension up to give me an easier time on the road.

The 5.0 litre M117 ran 700hp through restrictors, this wont have restrictors and I'm going to get as much as possible out of it, I want to see 900hp as i'd rather have too much and then just turn the boost down.

am I seeing things or is it a Vauxhall chevette [estate]?
Cheers,
