Defender 110 legal rear bench seats.
Discussion
Hello Land rover people, I will be getting my Land Rover 110 defender (with bench seats in the back)back on the road soon and was told today by an unreliable source that the bench seats I have are not classed as real seats in the event of an accident where insurance is concerned ?
I really never thought about this before so if any one could point me in the right direction I would be grateful ?

I'd discuss it with your insurer, as they're the folk who's opinion would count in the event of a problem.
My insurers accepted my 2000yr 12 seat 110 CSW (it has 6 seatbelts in the back), but several other insurers including "specialists" advertising in the LR mags declined to quote for a 110 with more than 8 seats.
