The bike has recently done 0-168 in 7.82.
On batteries!

A Hyabusa would need circa 500 bhp to do a '7'!

It uses a mere 4 pence worth of electricity, per run!
Best 0-60 so far is 0.97 seconds.
Massive, big-block V8-like torque from 'idle' helps!

Just watched this video about it: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=qCpk58mBq1k&feat...

Says they have been running it for 7 years, so why hasn't a major manufacturer began to look into applying this into a road bike?

Okay, but the budget of a big manufacturer would be alot more than a small time racer, so surely they could develop it alot more.

And it is brilliant, but no i wouldn't buy one! laugh
