Im in the process of planning the rebuild on a TVR 280i Tasmin, one of the things I will be doing is taking the injection system off and running carbs, but Im not sure which carbs I need.

So, which model of Weber or Holley carbs would I need for the 2.8 Cologne V6?

Many thanks

Scott

No idea about Holley but Webber 38DGAS or 40DF15 are used for Cologne engines.

If you decide on a 38DGAS let me knowas a mate of mine has several old ones lying around and the refurb kits are availabe from Webber.

I was advised to run 38s for hillclimbing as apparently 40+ would make it a little sluggish

Do not use the Holley carb, they drown these small displacement motors and meter fuel as accurate as a bucketrolleyesthe 38DGAS(stock 3.0 Essex carb) will work a treat, the A in DGAS stands for autochoke DGMS manual choke(what a bloody trainspotter)hehegood luck.
