Meta Alarms

Hi

Just got my third TVR a Cerb.450.

Like my first cerb I have had a problem with the Meta alarm.

If I drive down the road it somtimes gives out a loud chirp. Sounds like a bloody police car!. Then when parked up with alarm on it sometimes starts chirping now and again. Then tonight parked the car and the bloody alarm started chirping and then let rip big time. Ie full blast noise. Then it would not turn off with the remote. Just about to get out my side cutters to cut the sounder off and then it stopped!

Any help appreciated.

Seconded - Your alarm is telling you it's dying and needs replacing. This is going to start happening to a lot of Cerbs no - apart from mine because it's already happened - so be prepared

Don't do that it will never stop untill the battery is dead.

mine did exactly the same thing. The siren is heading south. Time to take it out and get a new one. People will tell you that if you disconnect it the siren will continue until its internal battery runs down. A bucket of water was suggested. However mine didnt make a sound.
